Our Beginning

Built on the belief that every child is born with a divine spark.

Growing Minds Foundation was founded in California with a clear purpose: to help every child thrive. We believe every child is born with a divine spark — a unique combination of gifts, purpose, and potential. When children are nourished, supported, educated, and encouraged, that spark grows into confidence, resilience, leadership, and lifelong success.

That spark needs education to grow, nourishment to thrive, supportive adults to protect it, community to sustain it, and opportunity to shine. Everything we do is designed around those needs — from early learning and healthy meals to parent support and community partnerships.

When we invest in children early and support the families and communities who care for them, we create a ripple effect that strengthens everyone. That is the belief at the heart of every program we offer and every family we serve.

Growing Minds Foundation exists to nurture the whole child and strengthen the families who support them. Through early childhood education, nutritious meals, parent empowerment, and community partnerships, we create opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive while helping families build strong foundations for the future.

We work at the intersection of education, nourishment, family, and community, because we know that children don't grow in isolation. Strong families, healthy meals, caring adults, and connected communities are the foundation for every child's success.

Our Story

Born from a simple belief: every child deserves to thrive.

Growing Minds Foundation began with a clear conviction — that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, no matter where they start. Too many families lacked access to the quality early learning, healthy meals, and support their children needed, and those gaps were growing.

What started as conversations around kitchen tables and in community centers became something more: a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to close those gaps, one child, one family, and one community at a time.

Today, Growing Minds Foundation serves families across California through programs spanning early childhood education, healthy nutrition, parent support, youth mentorship, community development, and family empowerment. Our newest initiative, the Early Learning Initiative, is exploring access to quality infant and toddler care in the Inland Empire.

We remain a small, purpose-driven team, but our impact grows every year. And we're just getting started.
